What is a school ERP?

The point is that one student record is shared by every module, so the admissions list, the attendance register and the fee ledger cannot drift apart.
How is SkoolBook different from a legacy school ERP?
Three things, concretely. One portal and one login for every role instead of a separate app per role. Live GPS transport with geofencing rather than a periodic position log. And an AI Tutor plus AI-assisted performance calibration, which legacy systems in this category don't offer at all. Onboarding a school is a data operation on shared infrastructure rather than a new deployment, so there is no per-school install to schedule.
Is our school's data kept separate from other schools?
Yes, and structurally rather than by convention. Each school gets its own Postgres schema, with row-level security on top and field-level encryption on personal data. Data is India-resident by default.
Can we start with only the modules we need?
Yes. Modules are entitlements resolved per school, and tenant-level overrides let a single module be unbundled beyond your plan without a custom build.
Is SkoolBook white-labeled?
Fully. Your school's name, logo and brand colours repaint the entire portal, and it runs on your own subdomain — or your own custom domain on the Enterprise plan.
